"What counties do you cover? Will you provide updates for _____ county?" 

The answer?

Our page is definitely for the Athens area, but we try to cover parts of eastern Georgia too. If there are tornado warnings across North Georgia, then we will cover those too. However, if it is strictly a severe thunderstorm warning, then we will cover it in the counties in yellow.

Here's the full list of counties we cover:

Hall, Banks, Franklin, Hart, Gwinnett, Barrow, Jackson, Madison, Elbert, Rockdale, Walton, Oconee, Clarke, Oglethorpe, Wilkes, Taliaferro, Greene, Morgan, and Newton counties.

It includes the cities of Commerce, Greensboro, Watkinsville, Athens, Lexington, Monroe, Social Circle, Loganville, Conyers, Covington, Madison, Winder, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Duluth, Gainesville, Jefferson, Danielsville, and Washington.

Our main goal is to provide weather updates for Athens, and then focus outside of those areas.
